Laptop broken while you are travelling? A screen that will not turn on, a machine that will not start, coffee on the keyboard, or photos you are afraid you have lost. It is a bad thing to happen on holiday, and finding someone you can talk to makes it worse.
We speak English. We are a computer shop in the centre of Montecatini Terme, working on computers since 2015. You can walk in, show us the problem, and get a straight answer.
How quickly can you fix it?
Honest answer: it depends on the fault, but it is usually quick. Simple problems are often solved the same day — software issues, a machine that will not boot, viruses, a slow computer, a data transfer.
If a spare part has to be ordered, it takes longer, because we have to wait for it to arrive. We will tell you which of the two you are dealing with before you leave the computer with us.
Tell us when you are leaving. If the part will not arrive in time, we will say so plainly instead of keeping your computer and your hopes. In that case we will look at what can still be done — recovering your files onto a disk you take with you, or a refurbished machine so you are not travelling home empty-handed.

What we do not do
We would rather tell you now than have you walk here for nothing.
- Phone and tablet screens. That is microelectronics and needs different equipment. If your phone still works and you want the data moved, that we can do.
- Hardware repairs on Mac. On Apple machines we help with software, configuration and data; we do not open them.
What it costs
Looking at your computer is free. We tell you what seems wrong and roughly what it would cost. If working out the fault means opening the machine, that has a price and we will tell you before we start.
Nothing gets repaired without your go-ahead. No surprises on the bill.
Where to find us
We are in Via Biscolla 33/C, Montecatini Terme — about 10 minutes on foot from the Terme, so you can easily walk over from the spa area.
One thing worth knowing before you set off. Via Biscolla runs along the boundary between two towns: one side is Montecatini Terme, the other is Massa e Cozzile. We are on the Montecatini side, at number 33/C. If your map app offers you a Via Biscolla in Massa e Cozzile, that is the opposite side of the road — not us.

Can you repair my phone screen?
No, we do not repair phone or tablet screens. If your phone works and you need the data moved to another device, we can do that.
Can you recover my photos from a damaged disk?
In most cases something can be recovered, depending on the damage. Bring the device in and switch it off in the meantime: continuing to use it can overwrite what you want back.
My laptop is beyond repair. Can I buy one there?
Yes. We sell new computers and refurbished ones with a 12-month warranty, and we can move your data across.
How do I get to you from the spa area?
